Prestons support Jeans for Genes and Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI)

The Preston Group have been supporting Jeans for Genes and the Children’s Medical Research Institute since 2005.

This support has assisted CMRI to purchase equipment that is necessary to continue research projects.

Simply put, we need to know what’s right before we can cure what’s wrong.

Jeans for Genes® is the major fundraiser of the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI).

Conducted in Australia for the first time in August 1994, Jeans for Genes® has raised over 48 million dollarsfor vital research into cancer, epilepsy and genetic diseases.This has been made possible through Jeans for Genes Day selling of badges and events held during the year.

Our Managing Director Markus Preston is a member of the Jeans for Genes Executive Committee that assists with fundraising initiatives.

Markus is also a sponsor to the Denim Charity Dinner, which is the Jeans for Genes Signature Event where celebrity jeans are auctioned each year to raise funds. The Preston Group have purchased 5 artworks to date - Casey Stone, Eric Bana, Craig Lowndes, The Wiggles and Greg Norman and raise over $50,000 for Jeans for Genes.
